| THE ELMS B&B is a family run Bed and Beakfast nestling in the Mendips on the outskirts of the tiny medieval village of Banwell in North Somerset. There are wonderful views of the surrounding area.
We are located near the famous Cheddar Gorge, the City of Wells, The Bishop's Palace, Glastonbury, Wookey Hole Caves and the coast. Only 15 minutes away is the stunning National Trust property of Tyntesfield House in Wraxall. We are close to Bath, Bristol, Glastonbury and numerous beaches, including Weston-super-Mare and Brean. An hour and a quarter away is Torquay and South Devon.
Nearby attractions and interests include Chew Valley Lakes, bird-watching, climbing, fishing, sailing and rambling.
Although in the countryside, The Elms is just 8 miles from Bristol International Airport and only 7 miles from Weston-super-Mare mainline train station. We can collect guests from either, if required.
All our rooms have romantic four-poster beds, private bathrooms, coffee and tea making facilities and TVs. Breakfast is served in the grand dining room and dinner is also available. We cater for any kind of special needs, such as vegetarianism or lactose intolerance: simply mention it when you book. Traditional English cream teas and a variety of snacks are served daily in the gardens.
