| HAVEN HOUSE, awarded Four Stars by the English Tourism Council, is a family owned and run Guest House. It is delightful, spotlessly clean, and tastefully and freshly decorated. Situated in a quiet conservation area, it is most convenient for a large number of attractions and amenities.
The Guest House offers superior double, standard double and deluxe single accommodation. All rooms are en-suite, with no swirly carpet guaranteed! All have colour TVs with Freeview, hairdryers and beverage tray. Internet and E-mail are available for guest use.
Parking is provided free of charge in our car park at the rear of the hotel. In the interests of customer comfort, and to maintain a high level of cleanliness, we operate a no pet and a no smoking policy.
We have three room types available:
Deluxe single en-suite
Standard double en-suite
Superior double en-suite
Each room type is fitted and furnished to modern standards and are suitable for couples and up to one child (by adding a folding bed).
We are just a few minutes walk (300/400 yds) from Torre Abbey and gardens, and the Riviera Centre with its excellent conference, leisure, sporting and dining facilities. Close by are also Abbey Sands Beach, the Princess Theatre, and the harbour, offering many varied sightseeing and fishing boat trips.
Leaving Haven House in the opposite direction, Torquay’s main shopping street is a similar distance away. The two walks can be linked to form a circuit which will easily orient the first-time visitor and we have maps available for this purpose.
Torbay comprises Torquay, Paignton and Brixham (The English Riviera) covering twenty two miles of coastline, cliffs, coves, beaches, and walks to rival any in Southern England. It has a climate that belongs somewhere much further south.
