| Pilleth Oaks is a new house which has been purpose built to provide quality bed and breakfast accommodation, as well as character. Accommodation is provided with 2 Double and 1 twin bedded room, all en suite. We are renowned for our imaginative dinner menus using local produce whenever possible.
The house is on an elevated site with stunning views of the Lugg Valley. Guests can enjoy breakfast 'al fresco' (weather permitting), a pre-dinner drink or just sit and enjoy the peace and quiet of beautiful surroundings on our terrace / balcony accessed from both the lounge and dining room.

Double rooms have bath and shower, twin room has a large shower unit.
There is a guest lounge with comfortable antique furniture, note the hand carved fire surround with oak leaf design and family coat of arms specially made by a local craftsman.
French windows lead on to the terrace.
Breakfasts are served in the dining room or on the terrace.
Evening meals can be provided by arrangement. We use local produce where possible. Vegetarians can be catered for.
Presteigne, 5miles away, formerly the assize town, now boasts an award winning living museum 'The Judge's Lodging' and is well worth a visit. The area is one of the few 'dark sky' areas which makes it the idea base for 'The Space Guard Centre' on the hillside overlooking Knighton.
Every kind of outdoor pursuit is available locally including many local waymarked walks (Offa's Dyke and Glyndwr's Way) and we are on the "Radnor Ring" cycle route. Powys is a great place for bird watching in particular the famous Red Kite. Water fowl can be seen on our lake and forestry birds like crossbill and nuthatch in Radnor Forest. Our lake also provides private fishing.
Horse Riding is available from local riding schools the nearest is only 6 miles away.
If your passion is golf we are near a number of courses. Bradnor Hill at Kington is the highest in England, the nearest one to us is at Knighton. Leisure facilities and swimming pools are available at Knighton and Presteigne.
