| The Malvern was originally two Victorian Town Houses built in 1866 and run as two Guest Houses since 1906. It was tastefully converted into a single 11 bedroom Guest House in 1986. Pauline and Derek have run it since 1993. Children and pets are welcome! Come and relax in a by gone era.
Double, Family and Single rooms are available, offering en-suite or private bathroom facilities. All rooms have colour TVs, tea and coffee making facilities, radio alarms, as well as trouser presses, hair dryers, irons, mini & snack bars. We also have a licensed bar. Come and go as you wish is our philosophy for your happy stay.
Breakfasts are special. We have a selection of over 40 items on the menu, ranging from a full English breakfast to the Slimmers Choice, from devilled kidneys to vegetarian, from porage to Manx kippers!
The Malvern is ideally situated, only a 1 minute walk from the sea, 3 minutes from Deal town centre, with its shops, pubs and restaurants, historic sea museums and farm markets with local produce.
The port of Dover is 10 minutes away, and the Channel tunnel 20 minutes. Canterbury, wth its world famous Cathedral, is a similar distance. Major Golf Courses, Princes and Cinque Port, sea and fly-fishing are also within the area. There are regular trains to Dover, Folkestone, Ashford, Maidstone, Canterbury, Margate, Ramsgate and London Victoria. Gatwick and Heathrow are 1 1/2 and 2 hours drive away.
